ABOUT ME

I am David Bostrand, a 26-year-old fashion designer from Sweden, currently based in Amsterdam, specializing in both menswear and womenswear. My passion lies in craftsmanship, focusing on meticulous details and achieving perfection through hands-on work. I excel in creating complex patterns, layering, panelling, and innovative fabric treatments.

My journey into fashion began in my early 20s, opening up a new world of creativity for me. I started my career in 2019 with a Fashion Design course at Inredningsakademin in Stockholm, Sweden, where I gained essential knowledge and skills. Pursuing further education, I moved to Amsterdam and earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, specializing in Digital Fashion, Collection Development, and Sewing, graduating with honors (Cum Laude) in July 2024.

In 2023, I completed my first internship at HAN KJOBENHAVN in Copenhagen, where I contributed to the development and creation of the "Enlightened Particles" collection for Milan Fashion Week. Following this, I undertook a two-month internship at HODAKOVA in Stockholm, working in the Atelier on garments and accessories.

Before entering the fashion industry, I worked as a Stock and Logistics Manager and played professional football in Stockholm.
