CASUALS

CASUALS is a collection inspired by "The Casuals", a UK subculture of football hooligans that emerged during the late 70s. For this fashion trend, whose origin purpose wasn't style, but going incognito in order to blend in and avoid the police, the hooligans swapped leather jackets and boots for italian tracksuits, Stone Isaland jackets, and Adidas sneakers. In this collection I wanted to display the fundamentals of this subculture merged with my own personal design aesthetics, focusing on the dark and destructive elements.
